ABOUT STAFA
Traveller. Filmmaker. Storyteller. 46+ countries and counting.

I’m Stafa, traveller, filmmaker and the person behind Stafa Is Live.
I’ve travelled through more than 46 countries, but for me the point has never been collecting flags or ticking places off a list. What keeps me moving is curiosity, meeting people, understanding how they live, getting lost in places I know nothing about, and finding the stories that don’t usually make it into a travel brochure.
Stafa Is Live started as a way to document those experiences honestly. Not just the perfect views, but the strange moments, the mistakes, the people I meet, the places that surprise me and the things I actually learn along the way.
I’m interested in the world beyond the polished tourist version of it. Sometimes that means a mountain village, sometimes a chaotic city street, sometimes a conversation with someone I never expected to meet.
That’s what this project is about: real people, real places and real travel.

THE PHILOSOPHY
ESCAPE
THE ORDINARY
I don’t travel to collect countries or chase perfect photos. I travel because I’m curious about how people live, what makes a place feel different, and what you discover when you go beyond the obvious.
For me, “Escape the Ordinary” means choosing curiosity over routine. It means taking the slower road, talking to people you weren’t expecting to meet, trying things you don’t fully understand, and being willing to get things wrong along the way.
Stafa Is Live is about showing travel as it actually feels, exciting, uncomfortable, funny, unpredictable and sometimes messy. The point isn’t perfection. The point is perspective.

Stories From The Road
Some places stay with you long after you leave. These are a few of the moments, people and journeys that stuck with me — the kind of travel stories that never fit neatly into a guidebook.
